Tips of surviving

What a Tuesday is today? Today is our payday yet I never feel happy. Why? Everything increased yet our pay still remind the same. How can we afford this kind of life?

Anyway, don't ever trust people around you. The people who you trust may be the person who betray you. By the way, I'm not saying anyone of the friends I consider as. Just to remind you people especially thouse who work with you are not trustable. In my office, there is no word call "TRUST". There is only word call "BACKSTAB".

For example, if you are talking about other person in the company or even about yourself, there will be one there to listen and then report to the higher management. Then eventually, things will just spread into the air and everyone will get to know it even the person do not know you.

Why is this world so ugly? There are so many ugly faces in front. They only know how to protect themselves. Humans are so evil and selfish. Who make humans to become so selfish? I know what, it is MONEY. Everyone is so money-minded. If there is no money, you cant survive in this world. World full of creatures fighting for money.

If you want to survive in the company, you have to be
(1) rich,
(2) powerful,
(3) know how to wear mask,
(4) know how to boot-licking,
(5) have relation with any boss,
(6) pretty,
(7) sexy,
(8) know tai-chi,
(9) love to give crazy ideas,
(10) know how to work here and there to pretend to be busy,
(11) to have some 'WONDERFUL' leadership,
(12) to accept every jobs even if you know it cant be done,
(13) stick around with boss everywhere they go,
(14) be good to everyone but your own department,
(15) know who to protect yourself and hurt others...

These are the basic things you need to know. There are still more to list out. If I can come out with a book, there will be one whole lists with so many tips to survive in company.

I will come out with a book if I got so much money. HEHE!!

p/s: hubby zhu is now at home resting. Today is his off day but last one of the week. He will be starting work tomorrow and is his last week of morning shift. Still preferred him working normal shift.

28072008

Is today blue monday?? Maybe to me is not, but to hubby it is. He seemed like cant get things right today. Anyway, hope that life for him will be smooth for the rest of the day.

Today when I'm on the way to work, I took out my handphone and to my horror, I saw a crack on the number 8 key pad. It was so demoralising. I had to wait till Sunday where hubby zhu is not working then can accompany me go and do the phone. We had to wait for another 3 hours there doing nothing again. Why it will crack? I just dont understand. For these few days, I have to be extra careful with it. So damn sickening. This is the second time it had cracked. Somemore is on the same key. Everytime the phone need servicing, I had to send it all the way down to Wisma (Isetan). It open daily from 10am to 9pm. Luckily it opened everyday. If not I have to ask hubby to go down alone on his off day and do for me le.

The next time I want to buy a phone, I will not buy one with keypad already. I will buy one with touch screen. Then keypad wouldnt spoilt le.

Creativity

FRIDAY... Finally is a friday. Today hubby zhu is coming over to stay for the weekend. We will be eating at home and watching the last episode of the 2200 show on channel U. It was a very short stories which only have 13 episodes. Anyway, I don;t agree people to go for plastic surgery.

Oh yah, yesterday while I was surfing the net, I came across some cute and special design of funitures. Some designs are so cool and gobal saving.

Like this sink and toilet bowl together design, it use the water that u washed your hand to flush the toilet. It is a cool idea right?

This 3 in 1 breakfast maker is also good for small houses. It only require small space but you can make coffee, toast bread and cooked egg all together.

No where to put your wine glass when having a receptional party? Don't worry. There is one design that will suit you. It is the place with glass holder.

If you can't sleep at night then this blanket sure suit you. You can read the stories on the blanket. Haha!!

Lookin' forward to our love nest

When will our love nest be built? I'm so looking forward to live together with my hubby. It seems like taking ages to wait for the PR application to be approved although it was only one month plus.

Tomorrow is the last day of the working days. Awaiting for the day to arrival. Later I will be meeting with him and enjoyed our dinner.

COMPLAINTS:
Why everytime I want see things I like and decided to buy and it always don't have either my size or is the last piece? Is it that I have no fate to buy things that I like? It was a disappointment to know that they do not have a new ones. Just like yesterday, Hubby and me was walking at Anchor Point, we went in to the Charles and Keith outlet shop. It was having sale and I saw a shoes which have a nice design and intended to try mine size. But to my disappointment, the sales girl told me that they don't havr size 35 already. I just want to buy a pair of shoes. Is it so difficult? Haizzzz!!!! Can't that just have more standard size? Can't they just keep more stocks?
Usually I buy things will be very difficult and if I really like it, I will take the last piece(if they have it).

BORED BORED BORED

Wednesday means half of the weekdays are over. I'm waiting for weekend to come. Weekend is my most look forward day. 1st - Hubby zhu will be staying over and I will not miss him that much le. 2nd - I don't need to face all the working place and people. Need some peaceful days.

This morning was a raining day and I don't wish to wake up. I have not enough sleep. I want to go back to sleep, but I can't. Haiz!!!

Later I will be meeting zhu bao bao for lunch. He had been so busy till never had called me back. So poor thing!

Suci not around today and I had my lunch alone. Luckily, my mummy still have one box of hokkien mee for me. Xuelin went out and have lunch with her friend.

Granous is using my computer now, so I'm using the lappie to update this little bloggie.

This coming saturday, hubby zhu is having a meeting with his boss. Hope that everything can be fine and smooth for him. Know that he is not happy working there, but HUBBY ZHU, YOU HAVE TO ENDURE. GOOD JOB AND OPPORTUNITY WILL BE IN FRONT OF YOU SOON!!!

Updates:
Today Granous helped me to call to HDB and asked about the pay slip thingy, I got the answer already. We can change job. Yeah!!! Meaning that we can use previous company payslip to get the HDB loan. Cool right. At least we now know one good news.

p/s: now I really don't know what to do. It was so damn boring.

Back in Singapore

I just reached Singapore @ 0630. Early in the morning @ around 4 something, our bus reached Lakin. SOOOOOOOOO unlucky, the bus going to travel all the way to Tuas 2nd Link. Which was so fast away from our house. Left with no choice, we got down at Lakin and change to 170. The bus service only started at 0515. So late. We waited for half an hour. By the way, hubby zhu never wake me up till he found out that the bus was going to Tuas instead of Woodlands. He had to wake me up immediately and take our things and went down the bus.

p/s: When the first driver was driving the bus, he told zhu bao bao that the bus was going to Woodlands Checkpoint. So he he went back to his sleep and never wake me up. Then, upon reaching Lakin, he felt that there was something wrong, he went up to the driver and asked him where he would be travelling to. Then to his surprise, the driver told him that he not going to Woodlands and instead was passing Tuas Link to Singapore. Then hurriedly, he woke me up and we got down the bus.

While waiting for the bus, I was still not awake. Then arrived at JB, there was a huge traffic jam. We walked to the custom and then took the 2nd 170 to Singapore Custom. The cars were jamming up the bus lane and as the time ticked, it was getting later and later. We reached there at 0600. Mine queue was short, but there was a lane that was blocked by those malaysian people using access card. How can they do that. Hubby zhu's queue was long but not as long as on Friday night when we were travelling to Penang. He queued for half and hour. Took 912 to his place there and then went up to his house and change. He left the house after he prepared. I was still bathing and slowly do my thing. I left the house at 0730, thinking that the bus will have to wait and the journey to my workplace will be jammed. But in the end, I reached at 0800. So early. There was no one upstair yet.

Now I'm working. Feeling so sleepy. So tired. I wanted to sleep. Anyway, Xuelin and Granous bought me a birthday present from bodyshop.

p/s: Thanks alot to them. I also want to thanks everyone who had sent their greetings to me.

Friday's night news:
Immediately after work on friday, I changed and went back to CCK and meet up with zhu bao bao. We tao bao fried bee hoon back home and eat. Upon reaching, he packed all my thingy inside his bag while I had a short bath. Things prepared, we eat our dinner and then on our way to JB @ 1930. We thought that the time was long enough for us to reach JB, but due to the long queue at Singapore custom, we spent 1 hour there just to wait and scan his passort. All the factory people were going back home at the same time. We were rushing for the 2130 bus at JB, but when we reached the Malaysia custom, it was already 2135. The bus company called him and asked us to rush down to Lakin and the bus will be there waiting for us. We then took a cab down @ RM20. But luckily, we still can catch the bus. I slept throughout the trip.

On Saturday morning, we reached Penang and went over to his 3rd brother's house and took hubby zhu's car and then drove over to his 2nd brother's house and have a short bath. Drove his mummy out for breakfast. At around 4 something in the afternoon, we went over to Penang International Airport and picked his 2nd brother, his girlfriend, 3rd brother and family.
At first, we drove 3rd brother and family back home then the other trip we drove 2nd brother and his girlfriend back. During the journey back home, I almost fainted. You know why? Because the GIRLFRIEND perfume was so smelly. I suppose she put half bottle of her perfume before coming out ba. Make the whole car smelly. Anyway, she is a Singaporean.

Sunday was my birthday and also his mummy's. In the morning, we went to have lunch and then went to hair saloon and do our hair. I had a soft hair-rebonding. It cost RM220 and then treatment cost RM100. His mummy dye her hair and do treatment. This was a birthday present from my hubby zhu to us. Thanks alot my dearest.
At night we went to have buffet. Shall blog about this when I got the photo from his brother.

Tired Friday

Should I say it is a happy Friday? Hmmm.... I still cant conclude yet. But I can say it is a tired Friday.

Why? -- Yesterday, me and hubby zhu went to Tiong Bahru for a date - to watch The Dark Night aka "Batman". It is not a nice show. Maybe is because I cant understand the story. How can Batman's car got crash? Why the car then transform to motorbike? Why police still have to catch him when he save people? Why he is not a hero while super man is? That is not fair, right?

The movie started at 2130. I travelled down to his working place and waited for him. I wanted to complain. How can a HOSPITAL got mosquito everywhere? How can they never change the water? I thought hospital have to be hygenic enough for patients and vistors? Mosquitos can causes dengue fever, dont the hospital know? Is it that they just only know how to earn patients' money instead of prevent them from becoming a patient? This totally have no responsible sense. What if anyone just bitten by the mosquito and got dengue fever? Will the hospital take the responsibilty? I doubt they will. They will just push all the blame to else where. Hospital should have a clean environment, but I just cant understand how can that hospital doesnt. Does MOH go down to each and every of the hospital to check heir cleaniness status?
While I was waiting for him to come out, I saw a cleaner walking towards a rubbish bin. He was supposed to change the rubbish bag, this is correct, but you know what? At the cap of the rubbish bin, there was a patch of water and was in yellowish color. At first, I thought after he saw it, he would take a cloth or what to wipe it. But no. Surprisingly, he used his hand and put it at the patch there and then take the cap up and then continued to change the bag. It was so unhygiene. YUCKS! No wonder there are mosquitoes everywhere.

Okay, finish of complaints. Today I was so tired and was so unwillingly to wake up to come work. As I was bathing, Mummy was cooking Fried Noodle for us. Packed one for Suci. Haha.. Free lunch again. It is so wonderful. At least dont need to eat those yucky and expensive food at the canteen. Tonight, we will be travelling to Penang. The bus is 2130 @ JB. Will be celebrating my birthday there. Will it be memorable? Haha, still dont know.

By the way, hubby zhu dropped his key into the lift hole. Lucky the lift people still can come over and get it back for him. But still have not get the latest update.

Movie Time

Early in the morning, I don't feel like waking up. The feeling of wanting to go work is so sucky, but I still left with no choice.
Days without him beside when I woke up are so lonely. I really don't like that kind of feeling.

Today, oh no, is yesterday, supposingly we intended to order KFC but due to the person who said wanted to treat us went missing, we never ordered. Suci and me then planned that we shall order pizzas today. Anyway, still not sure it will be successful or not. Looking forward to it.

There is one bad news -- hubby zhu's brother still had not buy the bus tickets for us to go back on Friday night. There person there told him that there is no more ticket for Friday and Saturday. He will be going in to JB and buy it again. Hope that it can be bought. People there are really crazy.

Last night, hubby zhu asked me to movie tomorrow night. So long since we last watched movie together. Movie time. It is at 9.30pm @ Tiong Bahru. What movie? Let me tell you, The Dark Knight. Seriously speaking, I think is Batman show, but don't know why they called it Dark Knight. Anyway, who cares. If it is a good movie, whatever name it called, it will always be a nice movie. The movie will be launched in Singapore on 17th July 2008 -- which is tomorrow. We will be watching it on the day it launched. Definitely had alot of people.

One of the actors is Heath Ledger. I supposed that this is his last show as he had been dead. Will it be a nice show? I shall update once I see it.

As I was updating this post, Suci came to my place and got me a bad news. She recieved a memo whereby she had to attach at CS for 4 hours every day. Either at 0930-1330 or 1400-1800. This was so terrible. Can't really imagine they do this to her. I suggested to her that she should find a new job. They are bullying her.

Everyone is in the meeting now and the room have left only me and my senior programmer. By the way, I just came back from the toilet. Accompanied Suci to pump her milk. Updated halfway then go walk walk.

Yesterday, hubby zhu had a busy day at work. Seem like his "colleagues" are acting to be busy. Cases were passed to him. Din't meet up with him yesterday. But will be meeting him today. Yeah Yeah!! Miss him so much.

Monday's Blue

I hate Monday. It making me so moody. Everyone so busy. I have alot of things to do, but I don't feel like doing. My Saturday and Sunday are very nice and good. On saturday, me and hubby zhu went to Vivocity again. This time, we went there to help Suci to buy naraya bag. Today I brought it over and to my surprise, the bag is actually for me as my birthday's present and also to thanks me for helping them with so many things. It was from her department. So nice of them. But, haha, I had to buy the present myself. They said, like that I can have a present which I really like. Thanks to them. It is also the first time I gotten a present from collegues. The bag is in PINK color. It is a smaller version of the brown bag I have. Now, I have small, medium and big. Cool. I have 1 blue, 1 brown, 1 pink and 1 purple. Altogether, I have four.

This weekend is my birthday. I will be celebrating at Penang this year. On friday night, I will be travelling over with hubby zhu. We still have not yet decide where to stay.

But before that, I wished to share the experiences happened on supposingly my beloved Saturday.

After we had our lunch at Harbour Front hawker center, we decided to take 188 back to CCK. Last time I used to take the bus to work when I was attached to PSA. It the most only took me 45 min to reach Harbour Front, but on Saturday, it took us more than one hour to reach our destination. It was so terrible.

I think that the bus driver had to go back and retake his bus license. Whenever he reached a busstop, it started to brake very hard within a very short distance. For the journey back, it saved us both 40 cents but it took us more time to reach than MRT. So it is recommended not to take 188 from there. When I reached CCK, I almost puked. So terrible.

p/s: we changes ringgit at 2.381. High hor?

At night, hubby zhu helped me to pack my room. Packed out 2 big packets of unwanted clothes and one very big bag of bags(total of 21 pieces). Watched King Authur with him.

p/s: don't really know what it is all about though.

On sunday, we supposed to drive mummy to her auntie's house for baby's first month celebration. In the end, she asked us to go up. Haha, at there, she introduce my hubby to everyone. She seemed like very excited about it. After we ate a little, we left without here.
We then went to Jurong East and sell my bags. I sold all the bags at $6.
Went to the library and applied for the premium membership. This membership can allow us to borrow audio-visual thingy. It cost $21 per annual. It is quite worth it if you are going to use it most of the time. We can actually borrow 4 audio-visual and 4 books together.
Hubby zhu borrow 3 games and I borrow one. It was the second version of photo hunt. Cool. Too bad it only allow us to borrow for 2 weeks. Anyway, we have to return on 27th July 2008. Happily, we went back home and started to play game. We also watched Hellboy on channel 5.
